If you're transferring ownership of your Smore account or simply updating your information, you can change the first name, last name, and email address on file.
⚠️ If your account was created using Google or Facebook login, you'll need to contact support to convert it to an email/password login before making these changes.
To change your name or email address
- Hover over Account in the top-right corner and select Account & Billing.
- Click Edit Profile next to your name.
- Update the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address fields.
- Click Update Profile to save your changes.
💡 Tip: Consider updating your Screen Name as well; this appears in the sender address when you send newsletters.
Note: If the new owner already has a Smore account associated with their email address, they’ll need to delete that account first before using the same email for a new Smore account.

To change your password
If you’re transferring your account to someone else or simply want to update your password, you can do so from the Edit Profile page.
⚠️ Important:
If you signed up using Google or Facebook, you can’t change your password directly. Please contact support@smore.com to switch to an email and password login.
To update your password:
- Go to Account & Billing › Edit Profile.
- Scroll to the Change Password section.
- Enter your new password and click Update Profile to save.
To change your profile picture
You can personalize your account by uploading a new profile image.
- Hover over Account in the top-right corner and select Account & Billing.
- Click Edit under your current profile picture.
- Choose a new image from your computer and click Open to upload it.
