What is Newsletter Privacy?
Newsletter Privacy gives you control over who can view your newsletter once it’s published. You can choose between two settings:
🔒 Private: Your newsletter is not publicly listed, won’t appear on Smore, and won’t be indexed by search engines.
- Your newsletter will not be indexed by search engines.
- It won’t be featured on Smore.
- It won’t appear on your Smore Profile.
-
To share, you must provide the newsletter URL directly (e.g., via email or social media).
Note: If you mark a newsletter as private but share the URL, anyone with the link can still access it, and those views will count toward your view total.
🌍 Public: Your newsletter is public, can be featured on Smore, and may appear in search engines.
- Your newsletter can appear in search engines.
- It is eligible to be featured on Smore.
- It will show up on your Smore Profile.
- Anyone can access your newsletter, even without receiving the direct URL from you.

-

- Click “Save Newsletter Settings.”
✨ Tip: Use Private for internal or limited-audience communications, and Public when you want your newsletter to reach the widest possible audience.
