Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I create a template for a newsletter?
Yes! You can design a newsletter, treat it as a template, and then duplicate it each week. This allows you to update content without affecting the original version.
Q: Do changes in the duplicate affect the original newsletter?
No. Each newsletter is unique and has its own URL. Changes in one will not affect the others.
Q: How can I save a previous newsletter before updating it to create a new one?
Since Smore doesn’t currently offer revision history, we recommend duplicating a newsletter first and then editing the duplicate. This way, you always keep access to the original.
Q: Can I duplicate just a section of a newsletter?
Yes! You can duplicate individual content sections. Click here to learn how.
Q: I’m trying to duplicate my newsletter, but the pop-up isn’t appearing. What should I do?
This issue may be caused by a browser extension blocking the pop-up. Try these steps:
- Open your Smore account in an Incognito window and try duplicating again. If it works, the issue is likely due to an extension.
- To disable extensions in Chrome:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Click the three dots in the upper right → More Tools → Extensions.
- Toggle off or remove extensions, then try duplicating again.
- If the problem continues, contact us at support@smore.com for assistance.
