Emailing your Smore Newsletter – Smore

Get More Views and Track Who’s Reading Your Newsletter. Smore is designed to help you spread the word and make your communications fun and engaging.

One of the most effective ways to reach your audience is by emailing your newsletter to your contacts. With the Mailing List feature, this is quick and simple.

Once your newsletter is saved and updated, just click “Share with Email” in the white “Share Your Newsletter” box on the right-hand side.

Test Emails ✉️

After publishing your newsletter, you can send yourself a test email to preview how it will look in your inbox.

How to send a test email:

Go to “Share with Email” in the Promoter.
In the pop-up, click “Send a Test Email” (top-right corner).
Enter your email address (if it doesn’t appear automatically).
Click “Send Now.”

⚠️ Please note: Test emails can sometimes land in your spam folder. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check there first.

Sending Your Newsletter

When you’re ready to send your newsletter to your contacts, follow these steps:

Choose Recipients: Manually type or paste email addresses, or select one of your Mailing Lists.
Edit the Subject Line: Write a subject that clearly reflects what your newsletter is about.
Change the Reply-To Email (Premium only): Click Edit to create a custom reply-to address and name. (Optional)
Schedule Sends: Send your newsletter immediately or schedule it for a future date. See our Schedule Deliveries guide for more details.
Add a Personal Message: Include a short greeting that will appear above your newsletter.
Send Your Email: Click the “Send Email” button to send your newsletter.

Successful Deliveries

After you send your newsletter, you’ll receive an email confirming whether your mailing was successful or unsuccessful.

No. Each recipient only sees their own email address — all other addresses remain hidden.

Q. How long does it take for the newsletter to be delivered?

Newsletters are sent immediately after you click “Send newsletter now.”

However, delivery times may vary slightly depending on system load and email server activity.
