Analytics Overview 📊
By reviewing your Analytics Report, you can gain valuable insights into how recipients interact with your Smore newsletters, and use these insights to boost engagement.
The Analytics feature shows you who is viewing your newsletter, how they discovered it, and how they’re engaging with its content. Understanding this information helps you better plan and promote future newsletters.
💡 Pro tip: For the most accurate results, email your newsletter through Smore’s mailing feature rather than sharing a link through your own email client.
On the right side of the Editor, the Show Analytics button will activate once your newsletter has been published. Keep in mind:
Premium users: Data appears after your newsletter receives at least 1 view. Free users: Data appears after you receive 30 views.
This article will provide an overview of the following topics:
Total Visitors
Located in the upper-left corner, the Views counter shows how many times your newsletter has been viewed since it was published.
⚠️ Note: Each visit is counted as a unique view, even if it’s the same person opening your newsletter multiple times (including yourself).
Traffic Sources
Under Total Visitors, you’ll find traffic sources, such as Facebook, Twitter, Direct, and Smore. These indicate how people discovered your newsletter.
