If you sent your newsletter using the Mailing List feature or by manually entering email addresses into Smore, you can track the status of those emails through the Email Report.
The Email Report shows you:
- Whether your email was delivered successfully
- Who opened your email and clicked on links within the newsletter
- If any recipients unsubscribe

How to access your Email Report?
First, send your Newsletter via Email
Once you’ve finished your newsletter and clicked Done Editing, the Smore Promoter will appear on the right side of the Editor. Select Share with Email and follow the prompts to send a mass email.

Click “View Analytics” in the Editor
To access your Email Report and overall Analytics, click the blue View Analytics button on the right-hand side of the Editor.
A typical Email report will look like this:
Here are the statuses:
Sent: The total number of recipients you emailed your newsletter to.
Delivered: The number of emails that were successfully delivered.
Opened: The number of recipients who opened your emailed newsletter.
Clicked: The number of recipients who viewed your newsletter in the Smore browser.
Interacted: The number of times recipients clicked on an outgoing link in your newsletter.
Didn’t open: The number of recipients who did not open your emailed newsletter.
Failed: The number of newsletters that could not be delivered. Please contact Smore Support at support@smore.com so we can investigate.
Export your Report:
In the top-right corner of the Email Report window, you’ll see a gray Export to Excel button. Click this if you’d like to download your analytics and track them outside of the Smore Editor.
⚠️ Please note: The Export to Excel option is available only on Premium plans.
