Templates by Educators (The Educator Hive) is a space where educators share their best Smore newsletters. It’s a fantastic place to get inspired — or to showcase your own work so other educators can learn from you.

Here you’ll find ready-made templates created by our in-house educator, Dr. Kara Stern. These templates are updated regularly to reflect seasonal and monthly events like Back to School, Black History Month, Valentine’s Day, and more.

How to Use a Template

1. Access the Templates: Log in to your Smore account and click the “Templates” button in the menu bar. 

2. Choose a Template: Click on the template you’d like to use to open its preview page. 

   

3. Start Using the Template: 

   • Select “Start Using This Template.”
   • A duplicate version will be created in your account.
   • ⚠️ Note: If you are on the Free plan, duplicating a template will use one of your Newsletter Credits. 

   

4. Make It Your Own: Customize the text, images, and layout to fit your needs and audience.
