We’re so sorry this happened! 💛
Unfortunately, there’s no guaranteed way on our end to make sure Smore newsletters always land in the Primary inbox.
If your recipients use Gmail, they can:
- Manually drag the email from the Promotions tab to the Primary tab.
- When prompted, select “Yes” to apply this change for future emails.
Additionally, recipients can whitelist Smore’s IP addresses in their email settings. This helps prevent newsletters from being marked as spam.

If your recipients are still not receiving newsletters after your IT department has whitelisted our IP addresses and domains, please reach out to us at support@smore.com. Our team will be happy to investigate further and help identify any possible deliverability issues.
Q: What if the recipient isn’t using Gmail? How can they mark Smore emails as safe?
If the recipient isn’t using Gmail, they can usually mark Smore emails as safe by adding the sender’s email address to their contacts or safe sender list in their email settings. This helps ensure future newsletters go directly to their inbox instead of the spam or junk folder.
