FAQs
Q: How will I know which systems use Standard HTML?
Most platforms support Standard HTML. However, if a system does not, it may misread the code and display the newsletter differently.
Recipients using Outlook may also see differences if the platform doesn’t support Standard HTML.
👉 Best practice: Always send yourself a test email first to preview how your newsletter appears.
Q: Which platforms should I disable Standard HTML for?
At the time of writing, the following do not support Standard HTML:
SwiftK12 & ParentSquare
For these platforms, select Non-Standard HTML; this will likely display closer to your original newsletter.
⚠️ Keep in mind: Without Standard HTML, some platforms may alter the code, and Outlook recipients may still see differences.
Q: Before I had this option, everything worked fine. Which should I choose now?
If you previously exported MNS code without this choice and your newsletters looked fine, you can continue using Standard HTML.
👉 Still, we strongly recommend always sending a test email through your platform before mailing your full list.
✨ Pro Tip: If your newsletter looks off in Outlook or your MNS platform, try toggling between Standard and Non-Standard HTML until you find the version that displays best.
