The Essentials 🎒

📝 Work together in real time to create the most up-to-date Weekly Newsletter.
🏆 Follow Smore’s best recommendations for school and district-wide collaboration.
🗂 Shared Folders
A Shared Folder empowers your team to delegate tasks, share templates, and foster consistent, streamlined communication.
Creating a Folder
- Click “Newsletters” in the top toolbar.
- Select “Create a new folder.”
- Click “Add Newsletters” and choose which ones you’d like to share.
Sharing a Folder
-
Click “Share this folder.”
-
Select members to invite.
💡 Tip: For a Template Folder, set members as Viewers so they can duplicate templates without editing them. For collaborative newsletters, set members as Editors so they can make changes directly.
📝 Live Collaboration
With the new Editor, multiple members of the same Team Account can work on a newsletter at the same time.
- If another member is editing, their profile picture and status will appear at the top-right corner of the Editor (next to the “Learn” button).
- 🟢 Green circle = currently working on the newsletter.
- ⚪ Grey circle = worked on the newsletter in the past few days.
